Our PTA's Mission

At PS56, we recognize there has never been a greater need for a mutually collaborative relationship between the families of students and the educators and administrators charged with their academic and emotional well-being. The PTA is in charge of creating bridges of communication among all the different stakeholders.

Every parent's voice is important and should be made to feel welcome. Every teacher and administrator should feel their hard work is recognized and their input is appreciated. Together, we can create an engaging environment where our students will flourish and be set on their path to becoming responsible global citizens.

2024-2025 Executive Board

We're here to help! Reach out to any of the board members directly with questions or feedback (all accessible via Konstella), or use pta@ps56k.org.

General PTA Meetings

Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of each month, online and occasionally in-person. All PS 56 parents and staff are encouraged to attend.
