Our PTA's Mission
At PS56, we recognize there has never been a greater need for a mutually collaborative relationship between the families of students and the educators and administrators charged with their academic and emotional well-being. The PTA is in charge of creating bridges of communication among all the different stakeholders.
Every parent's voice is important and should be made to feel welcome. Every teacher and administrator should feel their hard work is recognized and their input is appreciated. Together, we can create an engaging environment where our students will flourish and be set on their path to becoming responsible global citizens.
2023 - 2024 Executive Board
General PTA Meetings
Meetings will usually be held on the third Monday of each month, online and occasionally in-person. All PS 56 parents and staff are invited to attend.
NOTE: Any parent, grandparent and guardian with a child attending PS56 are automatically PTA members.
PTA Committees
Get involved and make a difference in the PS56 community – it takes a village!
Find the Committees section in Konstella and sign up. If you have an idea or interest that doesn’t seem to fit anywhere, reach out to the PTA board at pta@ps56k.org and they can help with next steps.
