Free Meals for All
Free breakfast and lunch is available for all students.
PS 56 also participates in the DOE’s Alternative Lunch Menu program with help from Wellness in the Schools. The Alternative Menu offers more food cooked from scratch, plant-based, and fewer processed food items than the classic menu. Visit the DOE’s lunch site for updated menus. You can find them under “Pre-K – 8 Breakfast” and “Pre-K – 8 Express Hot Lunch”.
