PTA
ALL parents and guardians, teachers and staff members are members of the PTA
— there is no other requirement for membership.
Overview
Every parent and/or guardian of a PS56 student is automatically a member of the PS56 PTA

General PTA meetings will usually be held virtually on the third Monday of each month from 6 PM to 7 PM. All PS56 parents and staff are invited to attend.
See our Calendar for the meeting schedule.
Communicate
The PTA primarily uses Konstella to communicate with parents. If you have a question or a suggestion for a member of the PTA Executive Board, please feel free to message one of us on Konstella, or just come say hi at pickup/dropoff. We welcome feedback from all parents, and we encourage you to come to us with ideas about ways to support and improve our wonderful school.
Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ps56bklyn/?hl=en and Facebook.
Volunteer
We need parents with all sorts of skills to volunteer!
If you would like to join one of the above committees, please message one of us or simply add yourself to the committee on Konstella.
